I've been photographing speakers, executives, and live events for over 10 years. Long before I press the shutter, I'm watching — studying the rhythm of a presentation, anticipating where the energy will peak, reading the undercurrent of a room.
I grew up in St. Petersburg, Russia, surrounded by masterworks of classical art. That early training in composition and light is still with me. It's why I can walk into an unfamiliar venue and know within minutes exactly where to stand, what the light will do, and how to get the photograph that defines an event.
What I bring that most photographers don't is emotional intelligence. I tune into what's happening in the room — the genuine laugh, the unexpected vulnerability, the moment a speaker truly connects with the audience. Those are the photographs that end up in annual reports, keynote decks, and authors' book tours. And those are the images that make your speakers want to work with you again.
I trained formally at the New York Institute of Photography. My clients include Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Douglas Elliman, and some of the most respected thought leaders in New York.
